LET US REMEMBER THOSE WHO ARE SERVING OUR COUNTRY IN MILITARY SERVICE AND THOSE WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES TO PROTECT OUR FREEDOMS. WE ARE FOREVER IN THE DEBT OF THESE INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES FOR THE SACRAFICES THEY HAVE MADE FOR ALL. FREEDOM IS NOT FREE.

January 13, 2012
Just when we thought Old Man Winter had forgotten about mid-Michigan, he decided to remind us what January in Michigan is all about. From a 50 degree Tuesday, to 21 degrees and 8 inches of snow today, we’ve experienced fall to winter in less than a week. We lost power twice today, but thankfully, it only lasted a little over 6 hours. We have posted some pictures of the beautiful snowfall on the Photo Gallery page. The holidays have come and gone and now the winter sports can start in earnest. Skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing, skating, and cross-country skiing, all of which can be enjoyed from the Lily Lake area. The Pavliscak’s have a brand new snow-thrower for sale, see the Services & Classifieds page for more info. Should you have any questions or comments, please call Dave Lawrence-LLIA President at (989) 539-5396 or e-mail dmlaw1@charter.net.
